Natural Remedies For Insomnia:

Thiamine or vitamin B can be very effective for helping with Insomnia starving your body of either of these two will make your body unable to relax and fall sleep, you can find a great source of Thiamine from wholegrain cereals and nuts.

Lectucarium is also a great food ingredient for Insomnia since it is a natural sedative and will help you fall asleep naturally. You can find this in lettuce and another great way to get the benefits from this is by boiling a half tablespoon of the lettuce seeds inĀ  two pints of water.

Warm Milk sweetened with honey every night before bed acts as a tranquilliser and a tonic and will help you fall asleep faster and hopefully for longer. If whatever ever reason you can not have milk then you can use just honey in boiling water to help you sleep since it has a hypnotic effect on the body.

If none of the above work then we recommend you try either aniseed tea or rauwolfia, Rauwolfia is another natural sedative which is incredibly powerful which has been used since ancient times, if your Insomnia is chronic then you should look to take 0.25gm twice a day once in the morning and once before you go to bed. If you Insomnia is not chronic then you can take 0.05gm to 0.025gm a day and you need to mix it with a scented substance such as cardamon.

You need to also find away to lower your stress levels since stress is a very common reason for a person to get Insomnia so take a week or work and relax. You can also try exercise as a method to help you body relax, After you spend time exercising you will discover how relaxed you feel as your body is cooling down.
